What items can I include in my Retold Recycling bag?

You can include any clean and dry household textiles, including clothing, socks, underwear, sheets, towels, and even fabric scraps. We accept items in any condition, whether they are torn, stained, or simply out of style.

How do I track my recycling impact?

Once your bag is received and processed at our sorting facility, we update your customer dashboard with the total weight of textiles diverted from landfills and award you Retold Rewards points.

Do you offer international shipping for your recycling bags?

Currently, we only operate within the United States. We are working hard to expand our recycling network to international markets in the near future.

What happens to the clothes after I send them in?

Our partners sort every item. Textiles are either sold to thrift stores, upcycled into new products, or downcycled into industrial materials like insulation or car seat stuffing, ensuring zero waste goes to the landfill.

Can I return a recycling bag if I change my mind?

Due to the nature of our prepaid shipping labels and the digital tracking associated with each bag, all sales of Retold Recycling bags are final and non-refundable.

How long does it take for my bag to be processed?

After you drop your bag at the post office, it typically takes 7-10 business days to reach our facility and an additional 3-5 days to be sorted and reflected in your account.
